What a great time Hope and Purpose Ministries and Deacon Larry Oney had with the people of Brazil last week.  The first interview is with three beautiful sisters and the second is with the hosting  Archbishop, Archbishop Milton of the Archdiocese of Cuiaba, Brazil where  over 85% of the population is Catholic. Note in the interview, the Archbishop mentions that over 120,000 were gathered during the 4 day annual “Come and See” (Vinde E Vede) event. We were very blessed to be a part of this great event and have an opportunity to preach the word of God to and to minister to so many. Particularly since many gathered were young people and were eager in their praise and to hear the word of the Lord! At one moment it started to rain very hard and I exhorted the young people to praise the Lord for the rain and they let out a shout that certainly was heard in the heavenly places!

We had the privilege of presenting four times  to the massive crowds. They were as follows: “Since we live by the spirit, let us keep step with the spirit” (Galatians 5:25), “But you dwell in holiness O Praise Israel” (Psalms 21:22), “I came to serve not to be served” (Mark 10:45), and “Do whatever he tells you” (John 2:5).

We did three television interviews and one radio interview while we were in Brazil. One of our presentations was broadcast live on television. We will post a portion of the live radio interview later. There are many photos on our site so feel free to go there and sign up for our free newsletter and consider and offering to support the ministry. We tweeted live while we were on site at the mission and many of those tweets are posted on our site as well. Just click on our face book icon or the twitter icon. While we were doing the interview a couple was touched by God and called in after the interview to the radio station to give testimony to how God had moved in their lives while simply listening to a message about God’s love and how he wants to embrace us with His Holy Spirit!

It was beautiful to see the energy and humility of so many who braved heat of 95-100 degrees to be there. There were many great signs and wonders of God’s love manifested during this event and I along with Hope and Purpose was very happy to have been a part of this move of God!

Please pray for us as we are preparing to head to Canada in five days to conduct a Lenten mission there. That will be the last of our international travel during Lent until we gear up to head to East Africa after Easter to present at a priest retreat where over 400 priests are expected to attend! Dr Mary Healey , Peter Herbeck of Renewal Ministries and myself will conduct the retreat along with a priest from Europe.
