November 20, 2021, Hope and Purpose Ministries visit Houma, Louisiana, one of the hardest hit areas by Hurricane Ida, to distribute food, water, cleaning supplies, and some turkeys before this year's Thanksgiving holiday.

On October 2, 2021, Hope and Purpose Ministries distributed hurricane relief items to about 1,000 people in Wallace, Louisiana. St. John Parish Sheriff Mike Tregre, St. John Parish President Jaclyn Hotard, and ministers and organizers from across the area were on site to lend a hand in lifting up these communities.
Saturday, September 25, Hope and Purpose Ministries distributed canned food, hot meals, cleaning supplies, milk, diapers, and baby food to over 1,000 families in LaPlace, Louisiana, which was devastated by Hurricane Ida.
Saturday, September 18, 2021, Hope and Purpose Ministries distributed food, water, and cleaning supplies to about 600 families in Kenner, Louisiana who were hit by Hurricane Ida.
As so many of our neighbors continue the hard work of recovery after Hurricane Ida, Hope and Purpose Ministries was in LaPlace, Louisiana, today to help by providing hot meals and cold drinks for those in need.
